The creative process works in weird ways. You are constantly seeking ideas, inspiration, and motivation to build something. When you have difficulty finding inspiration, things fall apart. You can’t create anything. Your brain stops working. And you don’t know what to do.

In my writing journey, I’ve experienced this several times. When I started writing, I struggled to find ideas. Thankfully, I didn’t stress too much about a specific niche and wrote about whatever came to mind. I’d write about self-improvement, health, personal finance, books, and online writing. Because of this, I constantly found new ideas to write about.

Finding ideas and inspiration is a constant struggle for writers. It has happened to me several times. Last week was one of my toughest so far.

I’ve tried almost every so-called method that gives you writing ideas. Some of them include the following:

  • Writing ten ideas daily
  • Reading and consuming content
  • Research
  • Life experiences
  • Providing advice to a friend
  • etc., etc.
