You Will Never Become Rich If You Are Making This Mistake
What are you truly worth?
For most people, their job is the primary source of income. The basic cycle is to earn, spend, save, and repeat. There is nothing wrong with getting a job. You will learn a lot from it, and you might also make good money.
But I have always disliked the 9–5 job culture for several reasons. Firstly, you do not have flexible timing. You cannot choose when to work. So, you must stick to the work schedule — 9 am to 5 pm, for most.
Secondly, you are told what you can and cannot do. Your boss assigns you some work, and you do it. It might not be something you want to do. Yet you have to do it. Otherwise, you might lose your job, which means no money, and you lose security.
Lastly, and most importantly, you are not paid for value. Instead, you are paid for your time. That is what I will be discussing in this article.
Getting Paid For Time
In most jobs, you are paid for your time. What does that mean? It means that you are paid a fixed salary monthly, weekly, or hourly. No matter what you do at work, your pay is already set. You will have a steady income.
Most people are okay with it. They feel they have “security” by having a monthly fixed income.
