There’s nothing wrong with wanting perfect outcomes.

There’s nothing wrong with working hard to produce excellent results.

But as creators, we can never deliberately create a perfect piece of work. All we can do is give our hundred percent effort and leave the rest to our audience to decide.

My perfectionist friends wait too long to put out their creations. They don’t want to show their work because they are afraid.

They fear people’s judgments. They fear the outcome. And these fears lead to them never publishing anything at all.

“A pursuit for perfection is the most leading cause of procrastination in artists.” ― Neeraj Agnihotri

How to destroy the perfectionist in you?

Wanting perfect outcomes is thinking about the future. It shows that you are not living in the present moment. Instead, you worry about what will happen in the future.

The future can be 10 minutes away, or it can be 10 days.
