Want to build self-awareness? Follow these two boring habits. The reason I say “‘boring” is because most people would rather do something else than do these things.
1. Meditation
Meditation is the best way to develop self-awareness. By practicing meditation regularly, you will become aware of your internal state and learn to live in the present moment.
Following simple breathing techniques will get the job done. But you have to be consistent with it.
2. Journaling
Journaling represents writing down your thoughts, feelings, ideas, goals, and experiences.
This habit will help you become clear about your goals, values, likes/dislikes, decision-making, and so forth.
