Self-Belief Is The Only Motivation You Need

We talk a lot about motivation and how we want to take action when we are motivated. However, motivation is a myth. Nobody or nothing can truly motivate you to do something. There is only one person who can do it.

It’s you.

How often have you kept yourself from doing important work because you weren’t “motivated” to do it?

You rely on other people or circumstances to motivate you.

But the truth is you only need yourself. You need self-belief.

You are motivated when you realize you can do something about a situation, and it’s in your hands to act on it. Especially if it’s something you want to do.

You don’t wait for motivation or someone else to give you a green signal. Your inner voice is enough for you to move forward and act on the situation.

Nobody can make you act upon something. Only you can do that.

Sure, they can boost your confidence and say something that makes you think about doing it. But taking action only happens when you tell yourself it’s time.

Self-belief is your motivation. When you believe you can do something, you will want to do it. When…
