A Letter on My Birthday
Dear Reader,
This isn’t a usual story I post here. It’s not an article; it’s more like a letter.
My birthday is coming in a few days. I’m turning 31. Well, that was quick. It feels like I’m still figuring out life. But I guess that’s what it’s all about.
We constantly learn, chase our purposes, and try to do the best for our loved ones. We are all doing the same. Our purposes and paths might be different. But the ultimate goal is almost the same — happiness, success, and fulfillment.
I’ve learned many life lessons in these three decades. Most of them came late to me. I’d say I didn’t truly grow up until my late 20s. Before that, I was a kid who knew nothing about life, responsibilities, and success. Life was easier back then.
It’s more challenging now because I have responsibilities toward myself and my loved ones.
But here’s a message for you:
On the path to your purpose — chasing your dreams and trying to achieve your goals — don’t forget to live. Life is a journey. Every good and bad thing that happens is part of the journey. Embrace them. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Happiness is not a goal; it’s a path. Have faith in God. Try to find positivity in every situation because life is short. You won’t know how fast time passes. Embrace every moment and live. Money, fame, and success don’t bring true happiness. Good relationships, unique experiences, and freedom do.
