Many new writers complain they don’t get attention. Their articles aren’t going anywhere. Nobody reads their stories. Nobody likes their posts.

They think it’s the algorithm's fault.

They think the platform doesn’t push their work enough.

It keeps them from producing more content because they fear not being seen. They believe it is a waste of time to write and not get recognized.

You focus on the outcome.

The truth is that you care too much about the outcome rather than focusing on your effort.

You are afraid to publish your article because you believe people won’t like it. Or maybe they won’t see it at all. It keeps you from being honest with yourself.

You can’t write what you want.

You fear hitting the publish button.

But that is the opposite of what you should be doing.

Don’t fear feedback and criticism.
